As Trump snubs Israel, Gulf states flex their lobbying for an Iran deal

Saudi Arabia's foreign minister said an Iranian nuclear deal would increase regional investment, while Trump credits Qatar for pushing talks. Trump also said that Iran should say a “big thank you” to Qatar for lobbying him to strike a deal. Qatar and Iran share the world’s largest natural gas field. “Iran is very lucky to have the emir [of Qatar] because he is actually fighting for them,” Trump said (Read more at Middle East Eye).
